about the author

Hi, my name is Matt Anslow. I’m in my mid-twenties, from Sydney, Australia. Nice to meet you.

Life.remixed (this blog) is an exploration of my thoughts and convictions about theology applied to the world I live in. I guess you could call this my public theology. For me public theology stretches into all realms of life – religion, politics, economics, social issues etc. – with an underlying conviction that God wants to bring life to all.

I don’t have all the answers, or even many of them, but I think I ask okay questions.

I currently work as the National Young Adults Coordinator with TEAR Australia, a Christian aid and development organisation responding to the needs of poor and marginalised communities around the world. I am also working through a PhD in Theology, and am an adjunct lecturer with some tertiary institutions here in Sydney. My PhD is entitled Jesus’ Prophetic Vocation in the Gospel of Matthew: A Narrative and Socio-Historical Study with Implications for Public Theology.

I am married to my beautiful wife, Ashlee. I also love to mess around with guitars and music in my spare time. Most of all I am passionate about God’s kingdom and what it looks like in our world; I look forward to exploring this with you.
